The hotel was absolutely stunning. I truly enjoyed the garden view from our twin/double room. - the beds were very comfy. - the room had tea/coffee making equipment, a satellite TV, and a seating area. - We also had a spa bath. - the property's location was good, by the ferry.

The venue is spotlessly clean and reasonably spacious, views are fantastic, the location is peaceful and excellent just off the massive garden with loads of seating as well as harbour in Stranraer where there are restaurants and shops, a beautiful part of Scotland. The in-house bar offers warm drinks.

Thornbank House is a stunning property with a serene ambiance and breathtaking views. the rooms are immaculate, with luxurious touches, including a mini fridge and soft bed linens. Breakfast is exceptional, featuring a variety of fresh, cooked options like delicious smoked salmon scrambled eggs. the location is conveniently close to the town center, allowing for easy walking access.

A bit of a walk. No complaints otherwise.

The pool here was awesome, and I enjoyed sipping on hot drinks at the in-house bar. the staff were super friendly and really great, always wearing a smile 🙂.
